Injured Tiger to Skip AT&T National Tournament
Another injury has set back the anticipated return of Tiger Woods to the golf scene.
Woods, who has not played professionally since May 15th, has opted to skip next week's AT&T National Tournament because he is still recovering from an ankle injury. He tweeted: "Doctor's orders: sitting out the #attnational. I'll be in Philly to support the event. Feeling stronger every day, but not 100%."
His absence at the U.S. Open last weekend didn't keep records from being set however, as Scottish golfer Rory McIlroy shot 16 under par, a first for a U.S. Open course.
It's starting to feel like the longer Tiger is out the greater the competition will be. Are you hoping he gets back in the hunt soon to beat Jack Nicklaus' record of 16 Majors?

The victory has led to rampant partying and celebrations in Northern Ireland. According to Reuters and club pro Stephen Crooks, "We have all supported Rory from day one. There's a huge buzz and excitement here. Rory is someone very special and we can't wait for him to come home with the trophy."
Ireland is so excited about this victory by one of their own countrymen that they are now seeking out a bid to host the Britis…
